# BlueGPS

> BlueGPS is a software-first Real-Time Location System (RTLS) and indoor
> positioning platform by Synapses S.r.l. (Italy, founded 2012). It connects
> the physical world of assets, people, and spaces to give enterprises
> real-time visibility, operational intelligence, and automation — without the
> cost or complexity of legacy RTLS. The modular platform is hardware-agnostic
> and integrates with existing web, mobile, and operational systems through
> open APIs and SDKs.

## Technology

BlueGPS supports any positioning technology on a single platform:
- Bluetooth Angle of Arrival (AoA) — sub-meter, direction-aware positioning
- Bluetooth RSSI (unmanaged and mesh-based) — low-cost, easy-to-scale localization
- Ultra-Wideband (UWB) — centimetre-level precision
- GPS / GNSS — outdoor tracking of vehicles, containers, and assets

Integration: REST API, MQTT, Web & mobile SDKs, and an Enterprise Event Bus
for event-driven integration at scale.
